Lord Flight is the Special Advisor of The Impact Forum.
He was appointed to the House of Lords at the end of 2010. He was the Member of Parliament for Arundel from 1997 to 2005, during which time he served as Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury and was a member of the Conservative Shadow Cabinet. He led the Conservative Opposition during the Committee Stages of 4 Finance Acts and the Financial Services and Markets Act.
Howard has worked for over 40 years in the Financial Services industry, starting his career at Rothschilds as an Investment Adviser in 1970. He was co-Founder and Joint Managing Director of Guinness Flight, formed in 1986 and acquired by Investec Asset Management in 1998, of which Howard remained a Director until 2019. He pioneered the umbrella Fund structure and built the substantial Guernsey (now Luxembourg) based, Guinness Flight (now Investec) Global Strategy Fund.
Howard worked for HSBC’s Merchant Bank in the second half of the 1970s in both Hong Kong and India.
Currently, Howard is Chairman of Flight & Partners, of Investment Trust Aurora and VCT Downing Four; Director of Mercantile Ports & Logistics (Mumbai); Chairman of the EISA (Enterprise Investment Scheme Association) and Commissioner (Board Member) of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Howard read History Part I and Economics Part II at Cambridge and was subsequently the Power Scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he obtained his MBA. He and Christabel have been married since 1973 and have 4 children.

Shahriar's career has been centered around corporate risk, strategy and balanced representation of stakeholder interest in private and public arrangements.
He has been a trusted advisor to the senior leadership of large and small public and private institutions for over 20 years including the US Government, BNY Mellon, AMEX, UHG, Citigroup among others.
He offers an extensive knowledge of commercial due diligence, non-financial risk, and how to establish risk and intelligence operations.
Shahriar has been in international business development and large-scale project turnarounds through effective execution of strategy and result-oriented team building.
Shahriar studied medicine including advanced studies at Harvard before he was compelled to study government and healthcare at Cornell in Ithaca, New York which led to a long lasting career in professional risk services and over 200+ worldwide projects.
He is currently based in Haarlem, The Netherlands and spends his time between London and Amsterdam.

He is the founding partner of Silicon Valley Advisory Firm, OrionX with focus on translation of digital transformation technologies on corporate transformation with clients such as HPE, Intel, Fujitsu, Oracle, Foxconn, Cray, as well as startups in IoT, AI, Cybersecurity, Cryptocurrency, or Quantum Computing.
Shahin served as an advisor to government, academic, and enterprise markets as VP/GM for the HPC and Graphics unit at Sun Microsystems with revenues of $2B and VP of marketing & strategy at Silicon Graphics with revenues of $500M.
He serves on the boards of Wizmo (SaaS), and Massively Parallel (code modernization), Source Code (infrastructure) and the thought leadership team at CollabWorks (future of work).
He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, San Jose Mercury News, Wired, BusinessWeek, InformationWeek, The Register, CRN, and Cnet on Impact of Exascale on Business, Edge Computing Drives 4th Phase of IT, China’s Coming Crypto Yuan and the Digital Disruption of Banking.
He is a graduate of the Hun School of Princeton and Cornell University.
Jeff Moores is based in London. He is responsible for all aspects of TIF activities including corporate partnerships, banking alliances, and execution of strategy.
Jeff has a notable career within Financial Services selling his first IFA practice as a going concern in 2005 and merging his second in 2009 to focus on risk capital and venture financing.
Jeff served on the board of European American Capital and held advocate and board adviser roles with Weightmans (Law Practice) and Stargate Capital (VC), Risk Mosaic, and Directorships at Wealth Rapport and Accountants, Moores Waren, CQRS, and Trinity Financial Ltd.
